Coasteering is an exciting adventure of exploration along the coastline, challenging the rocks and the crystal-clear waters of the Azores sea!

During this Coasteering experience, we combine swimming, climbing, and jumping. This activity is perfect for discovering the incredible landscapes of São Miguel Island, while adventuring through its clear waters and exploring the rocks, where you can observe the rich marine life.

The location of our experience is in the Caloura area, one of the most beautiful spots on the island, where the cliffs and the sea meet to provide an unforgettable view. Test your limits by jumping from the cliffs into the fresh, crystal-clear waters while having fun with the ocean currents!

This is the ideal experience for those seeking a combination of adrenaline, nature, and tranquility, with the opportunity to explore the local marine life.

What's included?

Trip includes:
High quality safety equipment, licenses, insurance and qualified guides.
Safety Equipment:
Neoprene wetsuit and shoes, helmet, personal flotation device (PFD) and group safety equipment (equipment daily disinfected).

What do I need to bring?

Swimsuit on and towel.
You can bring a licra shirt (rash vest) to use as a first layer, medication (if required), hairband, snack and water.

What do I need to know before going?

Minimum age: 6 years old
Maximum age: 75 years old
Suitable for everyone with a normal health/medical and physical condition (pregnancy is not accepted).
Swimming ability recommended but not required.

The meeting point and start of the activity will be at Cerco – Galera parking area.

You need to be picked up?

We can offer a transportation service in the Ponta Delgada area, subject to the payment of an extra fee.

Transport to and from areas outside of Ponta Delgada depend on the availability and the fare increases depending on the location.

The experience will depend on water levels and weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
